Description

Notice to current DPS providers and new bidders. Worcestershire County Council is extending and re-advertising the opportunity for providers of Learning and Development Services to join the Learning and Development Council Wide Training Requirements Dynamic Purchasing System. The DPS is being extended to continue to accept new applications until 30th September 2033. The Council's Learning and Development Service deliver and commission learning solutions to and for a variety of customers. The DPS has the following Categories: Category 1 Social Work (Children's & Adults) Training for Social Work Qualified Staff and Social Work Academy Category 2 Social Care (CFC & Adults) Training is offered to Adults working within Children's Families and Communities Services and Adult Social Work and Social Care Services, including Foster Carers Category 3 Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (CFC & Adults) Training is offered to Adults working within Children's Families and Communities Services and Adult Social Work and Social Care Services. Category 4 Health & Safety (Children's & Adults) Training is offered to Adults working within different service areas within the Council and external care providers, commissioned to provide care by the Council. Category 5 Corporate Business Skills Support provided across the organisation at all levels. Category 6 ICT Training is providing on a bespoke basis and offered to a diverse range of internal council staff.

In order to be able to compete for business with the Council, suppliers must first be approved to join the DPS and then they will be automatically notified of opportunities to bid for contracts through Mini-Competitions advertised on the specific Category.
