Description

A superabsorbent specifically made to slot into a garment making it a wearable Wound care and Retention system to help manage wounds in the axilla, groin, and buttocks. Superabsorbent must be able to manage at least a high level of wound exudate (Determined as at least 10 g/10cm2 via BS EN 13726- 1 2002). Have a minimum wear time of at least 24 hours and be atraumatic to the peri wound skin on removal. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that within the first 12 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases will be circa £100,000 (Cost ex VAT), however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.

Dressings for use with Wearable Retention System. Must be suitable for use with dedicated undergarment and be able to manage at least a high level of wound exudate (Determined as at least 10 g/10cm2 via BS EN 13726- 1 2002)
