Description

Procurement to secure a partner to deliver National Gas CNI (Critical National Infrastructure) Managed Networks, provide Wide Area Networks (WAN) communications & Satellite connectivity between National Gas Operational Control Centres, Data Centres and remote sites.

Total Quantity or Scope

The National Gas CNI (Critical National Infrastructure) Managed Networks provide Wide Area Networks (WAN) communications & Satellite connectivity between National Gas Operational Control Centres, Data Centres and remote sites. They also encompass discrete National Gas core networks which support monitoring and control across the Gas transmission systems. The CNI Managed Networks also provide connectivity to Gas Distribution Network (DN's) systems for the exchange of telemetry data. Gas core networks provide connectivity between Gas Control Centres and CNI Data Centres. These services include high-bandwidth, layer 2 connections, managed IP networks and LAN across Control Centres and Data Centres. Infrastructure includes routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers. Site connectivity is also provided to remote Gas sites for control and telemetry.
