Description

A multi-lotted Framework Agreement to provide an effective procurement route for the maintenance, management and development of all of Hampshire's green and outdoor spaces, for the immediate and long term benefit of Hampshire and surrounding Counties residents, and its visitors. HCC and other Contracting Authorities will have access to a carefully selected group of providers on the framework who will have been assessed during the procurement process for their financial stability, experience, technical and professional ability. The overriding objectives of the Framework Agreement are: - provide value for money, - consistent quality of service and workmanship, - reduce waste, - streamline processes, - identify and effectively manage risk, - use of KPI's to achieve continuous improvement, - collaborative working. The works will typically be undertaken in but not limited to: - country parks, - farms, - sites of historic interest, - schools, - social care centres, - care homes. Applicants can apply for as many lots as they wish, however if you apply for Lot 1 Small General Works, you cannot apply for Lot 2 Large General Works and vice versa.

Lot Division

1 Small General Works

Small General works, low value up to £20,000, comprising smaller hard landscape projects such as resurfacing, paving, retaining walls, soft landscape works to include tree and shrub planting, turfing and grass seeding, fencing and gates, including repairs to fences and smaller fencing installations, drainage solutions, damage remediation, tank installations and replacements such as waste and water tanks, minor alterations to external sites, site clearance and general grounds works. HCC intends to appoint up to 5 contractors to this Lot.

2 Large General Works

Large General works, higher value over £20,000, comprising larger hard landscape projects such as resurfacing, paving, retaining walls, soft landscape works to include tree and shrub planting, turfing and grass seeding, fencing and gates, including repairs to fences and smaller fencing installations, drainage solutions, damage remediation, tank installations and replacements such as waste and water tanks, minor alterations to external sites, site clearance and general grounds works. HCC intends to appoint up to 6 contractors to this Lot.

3 Bridges, Structures and Pathways

Bridges, Structures and Pathways - comprises vehicular, livestock, and pedestrian access improvements (ramps, steps, cattle grids, stiles etc), bridge build and repair, resurfacing and repair of tow paths, coastal walkways, etc, supply and installation of waterbody structures (moorings, weirs, etc), ditch and culvert installation and maintenance, supply and installation of seating/benches, supply and installation and maintenance of small structures, for example bird hides, etc.. HCC intends to appoint up to 4 contractors to this Lot.

4 Habitat and Recreation

Habitat and Recreation - comprising the management of habitat and recreational amenity grassland, works to include mire and scrub clearance, habitat and grassland maintenance (clearance, mowing, planting etc), hedge planting and maintenance, seasonal management of vegetation, waterbody management (canal, pond, lake, river), arboriculture works, invasive species control, animal pest control, and land, arboriculture, and habitat surveys. HCC intends to appoint up to 4 contractors to this Lot.

5 Agricultural Buildings

Agricultural Buildings - comprising the design, installation and maintenance of small agricultural buildings (500m2 and less than 12m high), to include livestock buildings (cattle barns, milking parlours, stables, sheep pens, tec) hay barns, agricultural workshops and sheds, timber and metal construction. HCC intends to appoint up to 2 contractors to this Lot.

6 Sports and Play Facilities

Sports and Play Facilities - comprising the installation, maintenance, and refurbishment, typically of multi-use games areas (MUGAs), rubberised play surfaces, natural turf pitches, synthetic turf pitches (STP's), synthetic play area, resurfacing synthetic surfaces, hard court painting and line marking, installation of lighting, suitable fencing, gates and ball stops for sports and play areas. HCC intends to appoint up to 2 contractors to this Lot.

Interested parties should register their interest in the project via the In-Tend website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire, and complete and submit the tender returndocuments by the closing date stated at IV.2.2. How to obtain the tender documents: The tender documents can be accessed when logged into In-Tend by selecting View Details" on the relevant tender advert and clicking "Express Interest" tab.
