East Lothian Council (the Council) is inviting bids from suitably qualified, competent, capable and experienced contractors for the Framework For Roofing. There are 2 Lots for this framework: -Lot 1: General Roofing Works -Lot 2: Minor Roofing Works

1 General Roofing Works
  • Value: £2M

Lot 1: General Roofing Works: Work allocated using this Lot will be for higher value roofing works than Lot 2 and comprises a range of work involving more than one trade. The Term Maintenance Contract for Roofing is for East Lothian Council for Public and Estates Buildings and includes (but not restricted to) the following Asset Types: -Area Housing Offices. -Cemeteries. -Children Centres. -Community Centres. -Day Centres. -Depots. -Halls. -Libraries. -Museums. -Offices. -Old Peoples Homes. -Pavillions. -Primary Schools. -Resource Centres. -Sports Centres. -Public Toilets. -Town Houses. -Youth Centres. -Estates Leased Properties. -HMO Properties. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. This includes an employer’s obligations under National Minimum Wage Act 1998 and the Equality Act 2010

Lot 2: Minor Roofing Works: Work allocated using this Lot will be for lower value more piecemeal roofing work than Lot 1, and comprises isolated low value roof repairs and reactive maintenance works to Lot 1. The Framework Contract for Roofing is for East Lothian Council Housing and includes (but is not limited to) the following asset types: Council housing. Blocks of flats, terraced and detached council houses Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. This includes an employer’s obligations under National Minimum Wage Act 1998 and the Equality Act 2010
