The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for a refurbishment and demolition works at Solly Street. Scope of Requirement: The project aims refurbish and remodel Suites 49 and 50 of no.3 Solly Street to provide a Clinical Assessment Room, Reception, Waiting Area and 3no. Consultation Rooms. The works are to be delivered under a single contract and are briefly outlined below: Demolitions: • Demolition of redundant internal glazed screens • Demolition of existing internal partitions to RDS 223 • Removal of existing floor finishes • Removal of existing suspended ceilings • Removal of redundant mechanical and electrical services Refurbishment Works: • Formation of 1no. Reception and Waiting area • Formation of 1no. Assessment area, with vanity unit. • Formation of 3no. Consultation rooms • Installation of new internal partitions • Improvement of the existing acoustic performance of retained partitions • Installation of new floor finishes • Installation of new suspended ceilings • Redecoration of new and existing finishes • Installation of new mechanical and electrical services The full technical specification can be found in the tender documentation which will be sent to you once you have expressed your interest.
