Description

Historic Environment Scotland (HES) is seeking to appoint a Supplier for this Interpretive Exhibition Maintenance Contract. A specialist exhibition care and maintenance service is required in relation to the HES exhibition infrastructure at sites across Scotland (including the Islands). Requirements include: Programmed specialist exhibition cleaning Reactive mechanical and physical maintenance to exhibition interactive elements (excluding AV elements) Touch up of scenic painting Repair and replacement of props Scheduled preventative maintenance visits at key sites

HES is seeking to appoint a Supplier for this Interpretive Exhibition Maintenance Contract to provide a specialist exhibition maintenance service in relation to the HES permanent exhibition infrastructure. Requirements include: … There is also the possibility of involvement in new exhibitions, covering elements such as design, manufacture and installation of set dressing elements and scenic painting in conjunction with any HES appointed exhibition designer and/or build contractor and this is reflected in the contract value. The preventative maintenance visit timetable will be agreed at the outset with the Supplier.

Renewal Options

After the initial 3 year period of the contract there will be an option to extend for up to a further 24 months, reviewed annually.
