Description

The Department of Health and Social Care has concluded a procurement exercise for and on behalf of the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care acting as part of the Crown ('Authority').The Authority sought to procure two licensed products which were divided into Lots, for the supply, storage, and management of Glucose 10% - 500ml iv infusion, and Glucose 50% - 500ml iv infusion stockpile.

Open Procedure originally The Authority has used but did not receive compliant bids for Glucose 10% - 500ml iv infusion, and Glucose 50% - 500ml iv infusion. Accelerated the negotiated procedure now used without prior publication pursuant to Regulation 32 (2) (a) regulation 32(2)(a) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) as no compliant bids were submitted in response to procure both products. the initial open procedure procurement exercise linked to FTS Notice number 2023/S 000-034595 dated 22nd November 2023 (Lots 6 & 7 only). The Authority confirms that the initial conditions of contract are not substantially altered.
