Description

The Home Office is continuing its early market engagement ahead of a formal procurement to put in place a new successor contract for the service and maintenance of the Cyclamen Service. This is an update to the PIN published on 20 Dec 2023: Cyclamen Service Re-Procurement: Supplier Networking Event. As part of early market engagement, Home Office is hosting an in-person Market Engagement Event on Monday 15th April 2024. The event will be held in London, between 12:00-17:00. For further information and to register your interest, suppliers should visit the Home Office's eSourcing portal (Jaggaer) and look for: "PQQ_345 01 - Future Cyclamen: Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for Early Market Engagement". You should complete and submit the NDA following which we will invite your organisation to the Jaggaer site that contains our Early Market Engagement documentation with more details about the Authority's requirements, market engagement update, networking information and how to participate. Please note if your organisation previously completed an NDA, you should already have access to site: PQQ_347 02 - Future Cyclamen: Early Market Engagement. There is no requirement for you to complete a new NDA at this stage. Background to this Future Opportunity: The future contract will be for service and maintenance of Fixed and Non-Fixed Radiological and Nuclear (RN) Detection equipment in support of Cyclamen, including the IT platform and infrastructure. It also includes the management of a Test Facility and the ability to procure associated hardware and software. Cyclamen is the UK's RN border detection system, a critical capability in the armoury protecting the UK border, and is an important feature of CONTEST, the Government's counter terrorism strategy. Please note this is not a call for competition but ongoing early market engagement.
