Description

The requirement for this new Framework and Main Call Off Contract is driven by the need to change from the existing Integrated Incident Risk Management & Patient Safety System (IIRMPSS) which has been used by the Health Boards (Datix) for over 10 years, to a cloud-based solution. NHS Scotland has a requirement to deliver an IIRMPSS to ensure it complies with legislative requirements and to meet its legal obligation to ensure the safety of its staff, patients and visitors.

Total Quantity or Scope

The requirement is for the provision of an integrated incident risk management patient safety system (IIRMPSS). This system will allow Boards the effective and systematic use of all resources available to an organisation to respond to an incident, mitigate their impact, and understand its cause to prevent recurrence. NHSS has a requirement to deliver an integrated incident, risk management and patient safety system, to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and to meet legal obligation to ensure the safety of our staff, patients and visitors.
