Description

Introduction: Essex County Council's (the Council) current Total Facilities Management Contract ends on the 30th September 2026 with no further option to extend. Therefore, the Council has started on our journey of discovery, regarding how the Facilities Management provision could evolve and innovate beyond this date and would like to engage with the Facilities Management Industry as part of this approach. Market engagement: Following initial market engagement, the Council are now keen to engage further with the market through the publishing of an RFI. The purpose of this RFI is to assist the Council with specification and contract design. This RFI is aimed at TFM providers who can carry out all three of Hard FM, Soft FM and Programme Management. Further engagement with other services will follow in due course. Following the RFI, the Council may request additional meetings with providers to discuss their answers in greater detail.
