An independent, external evaluation of the AI Lab focusing on three over-arching areas:- Process: Establishing specific and generalisable learning to inform future AI Lab activity and improve policy and delivery for AI in health and care- Impact: Ascertaining if the AI Lab met its objectives and how well the activities led to its intended outcomes and benefits- Value for Money: Comparing the costs of the AI Lab with its outcomes.
Total Quantity or Scope
The procurement was for an independent, external evaluation of the AI Lab and done via framework RM6126 (call off competition). Focusing on three over-arching areas:- Process: Establishing specific and generalisable learning to inform future AI Lab activity and improve policy and delivery for AI in health and care- Impact: Ascertaining if the AI Lab met its objectives and how well the activities led to its intended outcomes and benefits- Value for Money: Comparing the costs of the AI Lab with its outcomes.The focus on the evaluation will be the process, outcomes, impact and value for money as the AI Lab as a whole programme. To date, a number of sub-elements of the programme have been evaluated; most specifically the AI in Health and Care Awards for stage 4 (most mature) projects.
