Description

Walsall Council's is seeking to procure a provider for a Parent-infant Emotional Wellbeing Counselling Service. The Council wishes to deliver qualified counsellor sessions to pregnant and postnatal parents and care givers in relation to the infant's and the parent/s / care givers relationship within the context of their family. The aim is to support the quality of that parent-infant relationship building and support where this is stressful or needs strengthening.

This notice is to confirm the intention of Walsall Council to award a contract under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 Competitive Process. The contract start date will be 1st July 2024 until 31st March 2025, with the option to extend by a further 2 x 12 months at the discretion of the Relevant Authority and pending attaining further grant funding. This is a new service.
