Each Community Maker is there to know and understand the network of voluntary and community groups in their area and how they can support community needs. They also help facilitate local solutions to problems and issues through people power – galvanising communities to take action and connecting them to appropriate support.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice under the Direct Award C procedure. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 12 midnight on 2/4/24 via email to: dave.bray@nhs.net This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Decision maker: Operations Manager - Countrywide Specialist Services (ACS) and West Area SLT. Conflicts of interests: CEO of Volunteer Cornwall also appointed Governor of CFT Conflict Management: Managed in accordance with Regulation 21 and with CFTs COI policy e.g removal from meetings/discussions where conflict could occur The key criteria were evaluated on a pass/fail basis with the provider currently satisfying (passing) all key criteria and it is expected that they will continue to do so in the new iteration of the contract.
