This is a voluntary ex-ante transparency (VEAT) notice. Places For London has awarded a contract extension to Conamar Building Services Limited to allow it to complete the refurbishment works at Liverpool Street Arcade, London. The contract awarded ensures that the refurbishment's complexity and requirement (working adjacent to occupied buildings and the Underground Station) can continue.

This VEAT notice relates to a permitted modification to the contract originally awarded in 2022 (following a competitive award process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015). When the contract was let, it was below the works threshold, an extension to the contract was necessary which took the contract value above the threshold hence the VEAT Notification. Places for London considers that the modification is permitted by Regulation 72(b) / 88(b) - Additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor that have become necessary and were not included in the initial procurement.
