Description

Derby Homes has published this notice and intends to award a contract to OneAdvanced for dynamic resource scheduling software.

Total Quantity or Scope

Dynamic resource scheduling software was originally procured by Derby City Council in 2008 and inherited by Derby Homes in 2010 when we took over management responsibility for the council's repair team. The system is used to schedule and plan workload and repair job allocation and essential for financial and performance related reasons. The contract will allow ongoing annual license purchases including support and maintenance, and any essential upgrades. A change of system would have a major impact on operational activities, and create significant costs of change. The system is intrinsically integrated with other business critical systems which would make it extremely costly and time consuming to remove and replace. To implement a new system for the management of Derby Homes directly employed workforce would be extremely disruptive, costly and inefficient.
