Description
The commission of a Reablement Service which supports the rehabilitation of physical health of individuals. The model for the service is an in-house Therapy and Technology Enabled Care led service working jointly with health, social care and domiciliary care provider staff. It wraps around the individual and with an emphasis on enabling them and helping them to regain functionality, prevents the need for more intense health interventions or deterioration of health.

The original notice was published via Supplying the South West portal (2024/S 000-026803) published on 22/8/24, however it was not possible to publish the subsequent corrigendum via the portal, therefore we have had to issue a duplicate in order to publish the corrigendum

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the date after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 30 August 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Written representations should be sent to: kate.williams@n-somerset.gov.uk Award decision makers: Gerald Hunt, Assistant Director Teresa Maguire, Contract and Commissioning Manager Elizabeth Longdon, Contract Manager The relative importance of the Key Criteria was set as; Social Value - 10% (NSC standard for SV) Value - Pass/ fail (provider had to accept current rate) Other criteria equally weighted at 30% as it was felt they were all of equal importance. Current provider was Satisfactory or above in all Key Criteria. No conflicts of interest were identified
