Description

The Flood and Water Management Team at Kent County Council undertakes the council's duties as the Lead Local Flood Authority for Kent, including investigations into significant flood events. Repeated incidences of flooding have occurred around four culverted ordinary watercourses in Kent. Two in Tunbridge Wells, the River Grom and the Southborough Stream; one in Ightham, the Busty Stream; and two in Snodland, Roman Road small watercourse and Pollard Lake Outflow.

Other Information

The Authority requires detailed monitoring, reporting, maintenance and management of the gauges installed over the contract duration. The Contract is expected to commence on the 10th January 2025.
