Description

The Home Office is seeking to externally commission scientific evidence to assist the production of operational guidance in relation to evacuation strategy in blocks of flats. The Fire and Resilience Directorate in the Home Office is looking to appoint a supplier (or suppliers) to undertake this operational research and testing of procedures. Subject matter experts to research, test and produce report into revised evacuation strategies to support the recommendations of the Hackitt review. The appointed supplier(s) will be supported to access subject matter experts to capture experiential evidence and produce report into revised evacuation strategies.

Total Quantity or Scope

This procurement will be managed electronically via the Home Office’s eSourcing Portal (JAGGAER). To participate in this procurement, participants must first be registered on the eSourcing Portal. If you have not yet registered on the eSourcing Portal, this can be done online at https://homeoffice.app.jaggaer.com by following the link ‘To register click here’. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Once you have registered on the eSourcing Portal, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing collaborativeprocurement@homeoffice.gov.uk and quoting ‘Operational Research and Testing of Strategies for the Evacuation of Occupants from High Rise Buildings Involved in Fire -C19866’ in the title to request access to the ITT documents.
