Description

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is conducting an engagement exercise to explore potential capability or services available which may support improvements to the enforcement of confiscation orders. A confiscation order is made in the Crown Court after conviction to deprive the defendant of their benefit from crime. The exercise aims to identify and explore opportunities for public-private partnerships in the enforcement of confiscation orders. This exercise is separate to previous activity conducted by other government departments and will be seeking feedback on specific proposals beyond debt considered problematic to enforce. An engagement event will be held via MS Teams webinar on 30th November 2021.
