Description

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a provider to deliver bereavement counselling and therapeutic age appropriate activities to bereaved children and young people.

Total Quantity or Scope

The City of Edinburgh Council’s vision is that Edinburgh’s children and young people enjoy their childhood and fulfil their potential. Many young people will be bereaved of someone close to them (a parent, sibling, grandparent, friend, teacher) by the time they are 18. However, most will cope with their loss with the support of those around them. There will however be some children and young people who require more specialised support to cope with their bereavement. The City of Edinburgh Council wishes to engage a Provider to deliver a service that provides bereavement counselling and therapeutic age appropriate activities for children and young people affected by bereavement.
