Team Leidos are proud to be delivering the logistics commodities and services transformation (LCS(T)) Delivery partner contracts (LCS (T)/0001 dated 16.4.2015) on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence (the 'Prime Contract'). Delivery of other parts of the LCS(T) contract are delivered by Leidos Europe Ltd (LEL) and other partners (together 'Team Leidos').

Total Quantity or Scope

The Defence Clothing Team, which forms part of Leidos Supply Ltd. is considering the potential requirement for the supply of Flight Deck Helmets (Cranial Protection) on behalf of the UK MOD, consisting of a single lot. The requirement should act as / and have a number of key features; • Cranial Protection System (CPS) • Fire Retardant Properties • Compatible with ancillary items such as Night Vision Devices (NVD) and Personal Lighting Systems. • Range of Sizes. • Metal components should be minimized, where used, they must be secure so as to not become a loose article and must not radiate heat/cold to the user. • Use in temp range -20 up to +35 degrees. • The system should afford sufficient protection from impact injury (EN 397), fall from height (EN 12492). • The system may be required to be compatible with fit in-service hearing and eye protection. The framework length should not exceed 4 years and is anticipated to commence Quarter 2, 2025. The value of this framework is estimated to be between £200,000 - £370,000. Team Leidos is exploring new solutions that the market can offer and for this reason intends to hold industry days during week commencing 15th January 2024.
