Other Information
Lot 1 will be divided into lot 1a and lot 1b in order to spread the work load of NHG heat networks across two suppliers. Suppliers are able to bid for both lots, but will only be able to win one of the lots. This is the same for the second lot Billing Systems. Lot 2 is divided into lot 2a and 2b for the different types of billing systems. Please note this is not a framework but 4 separate contracts. Please note the estimated value has increased from the PIN notice due to some additional works being added to the specification. Full details of the works can be found in the tender documents. Full breakdown of the quality/price criteria can be found in the tender documents The contract duration for both lots will be up to 10 years (with an initial 5-year term, which can be extended by 1 period of 5 years). The initial estimated value of the procurement was £36M this is based on NHG's current anticipated requirements, additional sites coming on, and the maximum potential length of any extensions (10 years total). The initial lot values within this notice are only based on the initial 5 year year term with the current number of heat networks and does not include any new networks which come on board at a later date within the first 5 years. The total estimated values are for the full term based on the current number of heat networks.
