Description

The Awarding Authority established a framework agreement for capable suppliers to provide low carbon energy efficient infrastructure services, improvements and upgrades to existing or new facilities in the public sector in the UK in 2022. It has become apparent that the figure published for the estimated value of this framework did not reflect increases in PSDS funding and was therefore incorrect. This VEAT notice serves only to correct the error in the published estimated total value of the framework.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (COCH) and its partner the Carbon and Energy Fund Ltd established a framework of capable contractors to provide carbon and energy resilience and service improvements to the public sector in the UK. The framework was established following a call for competition using Contract Notice 2022/S 000-010872 dated 27 April 2022. The figure published for the estimated value of this framework was incorrect. This VEAT notice serves only to correct the error in the published estimated total value of the framework. This VEAT notice does not concern the award of a new framework agreement or a new contract. No new supplier has been appointed to the framework. None of the appointed suppliers is guaranteed any additional spend, or any additional contract award as a result of this amendment. Contracts have been and will continue to be awarded under the processes and terms set out in the original procurement documents and the framework agreement. Refer to Award Notice 2022/S 000-026889 dated 26 September 2022 for details of the appointed suppliers. The award criteria and weighting information below are those used to award the framework agreement and are not indicative of any new award process. The awarded suppliers in Section V of this VEAT notice are listed for information only and are as published in Award Notice 2022/S 000-026889 dated 26 September 2022. COCH intends to issue a call for competition in 2025 for a new framework of capable suppliers to provide low carbon energy efficient infrastructure services, improvements and upgrades to existing or new facilities in the public sector in the UK. The proposed call for competition will be advertised in the manner required under the terms of The Procurement Act 2023 (as amended), and any Regulations applicable.
