Lot Division
1 | Library Preparation The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who sought to procure a library preparation solution suitable for whole genome sequencing (WGS)(Lot 1) and a whole exome sequencing (WES) solution (Lot 2). These solutions will demonstrate acceptable data QC metrics with DNA extracted predominantly from whole blood but also from amniotic fluid and CVS samples, FFPE and saliva samples. In view of the samples to be used the input yield of DNA required must be as low as possible. The library preparation process should be compatible with automation using existing laboratory robotic equipment, including the Hamilton STAR.
