Description

This framework agreement is for capital delivery contractors and consultants (capital delivery partners) to support the delivery of Wessex Water's capital programme of work in AMP8 with the option of continuing throughout AMP9. The framework agreement is divided into four lots: Design & Build, Design, Mechanical & Electrical, and Civils. The capital delivery partners will work in collaboration with Wessex Water's in-house teams, other capital delivery partners and the wider supply chain in all aspects of delivering the capital programme. Projects will include the design, construction and commissioning of new assets, and refurbishment, modifications and maintenance of above and below ground infrastructure. The assets and infrastructure include those related to bioresources, waste networks, supply networks, wastewater treatment, water treatment.

Lot Division

1 Design & Build

Lot 1 - Design & Build Contractors Scope includes but is not limited to all aspects of programme management including Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (“CDM”) responsibilities, PM, commercial, procurement and planning; all design (process design will in the majority of cases, be undertaken by Wessex Water), supply, installation of all civils, mechanical and electrical works, instrumentation, control, automation, and commissioning of the following: • Bioresources • Waste networks • Supply networks • Capital Maintenance • Wastewater treatment • Water treatment • Environmental monitoring
2 Design

Lot 2 – Design Consultants Scope includes but is not limited to CDM responsibilities, optioneering, feasibility, outline/interim design, detailed design, construction support and design support to the Wessex Water design teams (process design will in the majority of cases, be undertaken by Wessex Water). • Bioresources • Waste networks • Supply networks • Capital Maintenance • Wastewater treatment • Water treatment • Environmental investigations and monitoring
3 Mechanical & Electrical

Lot 3 – Mechanical & Electrical Contractors Scope includes but is not limited to, including CDM responsibilities, early contractor involvement, procurement, supply, installation, and specific design relating to all mechanical and electrical works, instrumentation, control, automation and commissioning of the following: • Bioresources • Waste networks • Supply networks • Capital Maintenance • Wastewater treatment • Water treatment • Environmental monitoring
4 Civils

Lot 4 – Civils Contractors Scope includes but is not limited to, CDM responsibilities, early contractor involvement and the construction of and specific design, relating to all civils works relating to the following: • Bioresources • Waste networks • Supply networks • Capital Maintenance • Wastewater treatment • Water treatment • Environmental monitoring
